Poème Symphonique
Poème symphonique is a composition from 1962 by György Ligeti, written for one hundred metronomes. They are winded to their maximum size and turned on at the same time. All the metronomes tap at a different speed. Do you hear a rhythm ? And which metronome will last the longest?
- Additional info
Ligeti wrote this composition as a comment on the contemporary music from that time. During STORMOPKOMST, local volunteers with a heart for music will play the role of performer.
